The 2026 Telkom Netball League reaches its decisive stage this weekend as the country’s leading provincial sides gather for the final Power Week, a four-day programme of semi-finals, play-offs and finals that will crown the season’s Division 1 and Division 2 champions at Rembrandt Hall, University of Pretoria, on Friday, 12 June 2026.
The Division 1 semi-finals headline the Saturday programme. The Free State Crinums, who completed the group stage unbeaten, carry the form of the competition into a last-four meeting with the Gauteng Jaguars, while the Golden Fireballs face the Southern Stings for the second place in the Division 1 final.

Division 2 offers an equally open last four. The Western Cape Tornados meet the Free State Sonoblomo and the Limpopo Baobabs take on the Kingdom Queens, with all four sides chasing a place in the Division 2 final and the title that comes with it.
For the Division 2 contenders, the reward extends beyond the trophy. The Division 2 winner earns a promotion and relegation play-off against the Kingdom Stars, who finished seventh in Division 1, with a place in next season’s top flight at stake and a clear long-term incentive driving the lower division.
The contenders arrive in Pretoria after a fortnight’s break that followed ten days of group-stage netball at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, where the Free State Crinums set the Division 1 benchmark and the knockout pairings took shape.
The pause has given every side time to refine its systems, though the margins built over the group stage will count for little once the knockout matches begin.

The Telkom Supershot, the two-point long-range shot that rewards attacking ambition, has already settled several tight contests across the first two Power Weeks. In knockout netball, where a single possession can decide a season, it may again prove the difference in the closing minutes of a semi-final or final.
The finals fall across the closing two days, with the Division 2 final and medal ceremony on Sunday, 14 June and the Division 1 final and medal ceremony closing the season on Monday, 15 June.
With established Spar Proteas names competing alongside emerging provincial talent, the final Power Week also gives national selectors a clear view of the players pressing for higher honours.
