Novices have the opportunity to play a round of golf under the instruction of a professional in an unintimidating environment at the Nedbank Women’s Golf Series.
Women novice and amateur golfers have a busy season ahead with the launch of the 2007 Nedbank Women’s Series, with the Nedbank Amateur Women’s Series at the Kyalami Golf Club today.
“The response to the series is extremely positive and Nedbank is delighted to be able to provide a platform for women golfers to grow and the enjoy the wonderful game,” Nedbank said. “It is guaranteed to be a fun filled day with a host of value added extras.”
The Series takes the form of 17 events played nationally from February and November, giving amateurs an opportunity to ‘up their game’ while allowing novices to learn the ‘tricks of the trade’.
“The Women’s Series is indicative of Nedbank’s commitment to improving and promoting opportunities for women in sport and gives good balance to our existing golf sponsorships.”
