South African skateboard sensation Boipelo Awuah was crowned as the Women’s Skate winner at the Ultimate X African Skate Championships at V&A Waterfront Battery Park in Cape Town, which took place from 3-4 March 2023.
The 2021 Momentum gsport Awards Minister’s Recognition of Excellence recipient competed in the first-ever women’s division, as she completed a scoe of 28.65 for the win.
She was then followed by Cape Town duo, Bronwyn Shaw in second and Tamaryn Commins, who rounded up the top three.
