Nigeria’s Favour Ofili and Namibia’s Christine Mboma completed second and third place, respectively, in the women’s 200m final at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on Saturday, 6 August 2022.

The 19-year-old Mboma, who made her first appearance at the Games, finished the race behind Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson-Herah and Ofili.
Mboma finished the race in 22.80 seconds to grab the bronze medal, while Favour Ofili ran a time of 22.51 to win silver.
Thompson-Herah, who grabbed gold, stormed to a new Commonwealth Games Record of 22.02 seconds.
