SuperSport are raising the bar as part of their #HereForHer campaign, with an all-women broadcast crew working towards the upcoming Vitality Netball World Cup tournament in Cape Town from 28 July to 6 August 2023.
In March 2022, SuperSport made a ground-breaking announcement, unveiling for the first time in 16 editions of the event – dating to 1963 – the broadcast will be entirely female-led.
SuperSport TV will also work hand in hand with international sport agency Sport FIVE in ensuring that the 2023 Netball World Cup feed is distributed to other markets across the globe.
As we are now less than 50 days away from the global showpiece, SuperSport are sharing exclusive insights into the journey of the trailblazing women as they prepare for the big stage.
Breaking Broadcast Boundaries is a series which shares behind-the-scenes coverage on SS Variety 4, as we get a front row seat from directors, camera operators and engineers who are breaking new ground for future generations.
