Johannesburg, 1 May 2024 – gsport, South Africa’s premier women’s sport initiative, is excited to announce opportunities for passionate individuals to join our team for the upcoming #GSPORT19 Awards campaign.
As we commemorate Workers’ Day and continue to celebrate 30 years of #FreedomInSport, gsport remains committed to prioritising women in sport and providing avenues that enhance their earning potential.
It all began during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when gsport’s Founder, Kass Naidoo, took a conscious decision to create short-term work opportunities for women in sport. Last year, the initiative bore fruit as the #gsport18 campaign provided opportunities to a host of talented women in sport.
Now, as we continue our mission to empower women in sport, we invite talented videographers, photographers, writers and other creatives to be part of this transformative journey.
The #GSPORT19 campaign isn’t just about awards; it’s about making a difference in women’s sports in South Africa. It’s an opportunity for individuals to gain valuable work experience, contribute to the advancement of women’s sports, and reclaim their earning potential in the wake of the pandemic’s impact.
