The South African women’s national team assembled for a preliminary training camp on Friday, 10 June 2022, to begin preparations for the upcoming Africa Women’s Cup of Nations tournament scheduled to be staged in Morocco from 2-23 July.

Coach Desiree Ellis’s charges had their first training session this morning (Saturday) with a few more players still expected to arrive for camp.

The preliminary squad which consists of 33 players will go through a preparation camp at home before the final squad for Morocco is selected.
