Black Pearls Women’s Rugby club clinched the 2022 Uganda Rugby Union Women’s National Sevens title at Kyandondo Rugby Grounds on Saturday, 12 November 2022.
Black Pearls secured the crown with a 24-12 victory over Avengers, who progressed to the finals without a loss throughout the tournament.
Black Pearls were the defending champions going into the final of the tournament, after winning the title in November 2021.
Walking away with the bronze medal was Thunderbirds who thrashed Nile 48-0 to conclude the podium.
