Might Five Star and Maties I were the big-score winners on Sunday, as the SAFA Boland Women’s Super League got under way at the Cloetesville Stadium in Stellenbosch, after bad weather forced a two-week delay.

Stellenbosch’s Might Five Stars beat the Paarl Pirates 17-0, and Maties I beat the Shooting Stars from Ceres 7-0.
These big scores will help any goal-difference requirements later in the tournament’s progress, but the losing teams will be planning to avoid repeat performances of that nature.SAFA Boland Women’s Super League, played at the Cloetesville Stadium in Stellenbosch on 27 May, 2007:
