Cameroon women’s team has made a groundbreaking achievement as they qualify for their first Rugby Africa Women’s Cup.
This comes after the Indomitable Lionesses thumped Burkina Faso 52-0 in the last Group B game of the Africa Rugby Women’s Cup on Saturday, 12 November 2022.
The host nation were paired alongside Burkina Faso and Cote D’Ivoire where games were played in a round-robin format, with the winner qualifying for the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup.
They will join South Africa as the host nation, Madagascar and Kenya who already booked their spot in the final, with the event kick starting in 2023.
