The Shoprite Checkers/SASN 2007 National Under-13 Challenge will be launched in Johannesburg later today.
As has become a tradition at the launch of this under-13 championship over the years, a celebrity team will take on a team from Dalmondeor Laerskool, hosts for today’s launch.
This year the annual sporting gathering will play host to top personalities Ms City Press Raelene Rorke, Backstage actress Baby Cele, and SABC Sport presenters Vaylen Kirtley and Lebo Motsoeli.
The Championship is the continuation of a R10-million sponsorship to the United School Sport Association of South Africa (USSASA) by Shoprite over the past seven years.
