Cindy Too Fast in 100, 200m

Samantha Dodd comfortably claimed the gold medal in the Women’s Pole-Vault in Oudtshoorn on the weekend, at the fourth Yellow Pages Ultimate Athletics meet.Cindy Stewart extended her unbeaten 100m record with a clear 0.23s gap over Estie Wittstock in the fourth Yellow Pages Ultimate Athletics event in Oudtshoorn on Saturday, with Wittstock also placing second to Stewart in the 200m event.

Michelle Andrew placed fourth in the 100m, and third in the 200m, as she raced Tsholofelo Selemela, the two eventually swapping places in the respective finals.

Lebogang Phalula showed her continuing form in the 800m, when she eased to a comfortable win over silver-medalist Rene Kalmer.

Tebogo Mashela cleared a 7-sec over rival contender Pulane Mosome in the 3000m Steeplechase, and Samantha Dodd eaily took the gold medal in the Women’s Pole-vault.
