City Lads dominated the first day of the Sasol League National Championships currently underway at King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban.
Lads eased their way pass Royal Wizards FC, walloping their opponents 12-3 on Tuesday, 8 February.
Copperbelt Ladies from Limpopo and Free States Ixias FC played to a 1-1 draw, while TS Galaxy let crucial points slip when they allowed Tswelelang De’Scorpion to snatch the equaliser in the 88th minute.
Day Two will see De’Scorpion take on Croecus Ladies at 09:30, Royal Wizards FC will go head-to-head against Vasco Da Gama at 12:30 and Copperbelt battle Lindelani Ladies at 15:30.
