Day 6 of the 2023 Netball World Cup saw Uganda outplay Wales in a classy performance at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Wednesday, 2 August.
The victory over Wales was a first for Uganda at a Netball World Cup tournament, after a dominant 73-56 win.
Shaffie Nalwanja was named Most Valued Player of the Match for her outstanding performances for the African side.
In the other morning session match, Zimbabwe earned their second NWC2023 win and will contest in the 13th/14th place playoff, after beating Singapore 68-40 in a Pool E match.
