Dr Tanushree Pillay Welcomes PSG Appointment

Former Springboks Physiotherapist, Dr Tanushree Pillay, is thankful for her new venture as she joins Paris Saint-Germain football club, after signing her official employment contract this week.

Pillay made her rugby breakthrough at a women’s rugby event in Bloemfontein, when she assisted the Western Cape Sports Academy as a volunteer more than 15 years ago.

The 40-year-old went on to spend a number of years working with the Rugby World Cup winning Springboks team.

She took to Instagram to share her views on joining PSG: “Thankful for new beginnings and to have a new home with a great Club!”

Pillay will be working alongside football greats such as Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe.
