South Africa’s top endurance athletes are arriving in Cape Town in the hope of being selected into the program, the first of its kind on the continent.
Launched by SA running legend Elana Meyer, Endurocad aims to become the most proficient high performance endurance sports academy in Africa. It offers a complete suite of services to develop; support and professional manage world class distance runners.
During an action packed week South Africa’s top endurance athletes will be individually monitored and assessed by experts in the field of endurance sports and high performance. They will undergo extensive scientific, physiological and psychological testing, training and monitoring.
The athletes will also be exposed to dietary workshops, life skills assessments and coaching which will all culminate them competing in a time trial at the ROOT44 PARK run on Saturday 15 June, 2013.
At the end of June, athletes will be notified if they have qualified to be part of the Endurocad program or not.
Endurocad is a non-profit company which provides the opportunity for South African endurance athletes to improve their times, make a living from their talent and to build a brand and business for life after sport.
South African endurance athletes now have the infrastructure and support to get ready for Rio 2016. First of its kind on the continent, Endurocad aims to become the most proficient high performance endurance sports academy in Africa.
