Siviwe and Yolanda Duma (also known as the Duma sisters) are South Africa’s first black women professional golfers from Mdantsane, East London. For the Duma sisters, 2020 is supposed to be their fourth year of pro golf involvement, but harsh financial realities may hinder this dream.

The Pro Sunshine Tour is a professional golf tour based in southern Africa; however, a lack of funding and sponsorship is all that stands in the way of the talented Duma sisters from participating in this event.

After years of working to raise their own funds and trying their utmost best to appeal to potential sponsors, South Africa, it is time that we put our money where our mouths are in an attempt to secure this dream for Siviwe and Yolanda.

The sisters are dedicated to break the stereotype of golf being an elitist game, as they motivate and inspire those who aspire of playing golf but are blocked by preconceived ideas and beliefs.

“We will appreciate anything that we get even if it’s for transport and accommodation. We will appreciate the little that we get,” said Yolanda Duma.
