Formula 1 is planning on developing a new all-women championship that is set to run alongside the W Series, which hit financial difficulties this year.
According to reports, the championship could make its debut in 2023.

The new women’s racing series would be incorporated as a feeder pyramid of the Formula 2 and Formula 3 series, with 12-15 drivers likely to be on the grid.
F1 would not confirm details of the series but a spokesperson in a skysports.com article said: “We are committed to ensuring the best possible opportunities for women to get into our sport and to get the skills and experience necessary to get to the top of F1.”
