South African Hockey has announced its Spar South African women’s indoor hockey team selected for the upcoming Namibia Test Series 2026 at the Windhoek Showgrounds’ Sports Facilitation Centre, from 9 to 11 October 2026.
The 14-player squad combines significant international experience with an exciting group of players preparing to take their first steps onto the international stage.
Anja Tromp, Manisha Desai, Jodie Blows and Jehan Abrahams are set to make their international debuts for South Africa.
Their selection reflects the growing depth within the women’s indoor programme and provides four exciting players with the opportunity to represent their country for the first time.
The newcomers will be supported by a strong and experienced core, with Tegan Fourie, Jamie Southgate and Edith Molikoe bringing valuable international experience and leadership to the group.
The Namibia Series will provide South Africa with an important opportunity to strengthen combinations, expose more players to international competition and continue developing the high-intensity style that has established the country as one of the leading nations in the international indoor game.
South African Hockey congratulates every player selected and wishes the team well as they prepare to represent the green and gold in Namibia.
