The 27-year-old long distance sensation ran the 21.1km race in a time of 01:10.41.
Coming in second, Irvette van Zyl clocked 01:11.19, while Diana Phalula completed the top three in a time of 1:14.23.
Jenet Mbhele and Stella Marais completed the race in fourth (01:14.14) and fifth (01:16.14) place, respectively.
