Cloaked Voting commences for the 2024 Momentum gsport Awards at midnight, on Wednesday 28 August, meaning the results of votes in each individual category will no longer be visible.
The 2024 Momentum gsport Awards voting period has been a huge success amongst the gsport community and the extended public, who have clocked over eighteen thousand votes since voting commenced on Thursday, 22 August.
This year’s voting has skyrocketed and now we head into the final stretch as the process will conclude at midnight on Saturday, 31 August.
Cloaked Voting Commences At Midnight!
As is regular practice each year, the results of votes in each individual category will no longer be visible from midnight tonight.
This measure is implemented to ensure that the cat is not out of the bag, particularly for the winner of the Public Choice Award – ahead of the winners being unveiled on the Awards night.
Voting remains open at the gsport website, and Winners will be unveiled at the annual gsport Awards, in Johannesburg on Thursday, 12 September.
The Public Vote counts for 20% in the final reckoning of the 2024 Momentum gsport Awards campaign, after the Elite Panel of Judges cast their votes earlier in the process, their audited face-to-face votes also having established the finalists in each Awards category.
