Heideveld Academy thrashed Glen Eagles 7-1 in Stream A of the Western Cape Sasol League at Heideveld Sports Complex, while Maties FC secured three points defeating Ikamva United 1-0 at Nyanga Sports Field on Saturday, 29 April 2023
On Sunday, 30 April, there were two games with Dangerous Heroes defeating Spurs WFC 4-1 and Cape Town Roses narrowly securing a 3-2 win over Santos.
In Stream B, earlier on Friday 28 April, UCT defeated RV United 3-1. On Saturday, Burnley WFC fell 2-1 to Badgers FC and HBU FC secured a remarkable 4-0 victory over Invincible Cravenby.
There was only one fixture on Sunday, where Magic Ladies FC defeated Southern Stars 5-0.
Sophakama FC Maintain Lead On Eastern Cape Sasol League Log Standings
Sophakama FC extended their unbeaten record in the Eastern Cape Coastal Stream, defeating MADIBAZ FC 7-2at NMU 2nd Avenue, Summerstrand on Saturday, 29 April 2023.
Nav Galaxy also secured a fantastic win when they hosted Phoenix Birds FC, thrashing them 5-1, while Golden Stars FC suffered a 3-2 loss to University of Fort Hare and Kilimanjaro Stars lost 5-3 to Bay Stars Ladies.
In the Inland Stream, Ayakha FC bagged a narrow 1-0 win over Red Roses Ladies. While, Coastal United lost 2-1 to Executive Ladies.
Cumakala FC and Eluhewini Ladies shared the spoils in a 1-all draw, while Eastern Rangers defeated Amanqilo Birds 2-0.
