A win for the talk of the tournament Badgers would almost certainly guarantee them a seat at the table for the final stages, having held onto a top-three spot through sheer consistency, and they will travel to the Mother City full of confidence, while Western Province will rely heavily on the experience of the old guard with the rising talent to halt the Badgers’ threat.
In Centurion, the Titans host a struggling North West Dragons side. The Dragons are yet to find their rhythm this season, sitting at the bottom of the log without a win.
For the Titans, currently in fifth with 10 points, this is a “must-win” to stay mathematically relevant. The hosts will look to exploit Supersport Park home conditions and the Dragons’ fragile confidence to keep their slim hopes alive.
