If you’d still like to enter the Nedbank Johannesburg City Marathon, late entries are being taken at the Emmarentia Botanical Gardens, off Beyers Naude until 5pm this afternoon.
Organisers have confirmed that they have already received 1100 entries for the 42k marathon (16% female) and 800 entries in the 10km (36% female).

The total prize money for the marathon is R449 600, and men and women receive equal prizes.
The 42.2km gets underway at 06h30, the 10km at 07h30, and the 5km at 07h45.
