If this is your first taste of the gsport Youtube channel, here are some of our favourite picks. Please like or comment and help us spread the message that women’s sport deserves all our support to rise to the top!
In 2019 gsport went global when it toured Surat and Baroda in support of the Proteas Women team in India. The trip included gsportprofiling players in exclusive interviews, highlighting key moments in the matches played and bringing the flavour of the tour to the South African support base
Weekly, it has become our mission to provide a Big Interview with key individuals in various sporting codes. Some of our top interviews include Banyana Banyana head coach and two-time CAF Women’s Coach of the Year, Desiree Ellis, South African international rugby player, Babalwa Latsha, former CAF Women’s Footballer of the Year, Thembi Kgatlana, Netball South Africa President, Cecilia Molokwane.
We have also shone the spotlight on women who work behind the scenes. An inspirational story of Brand SA’s Supporter of the Year, Anet Bosman, who has gone beyond the call of duty, specifically in her support of star South African Paralympic athlete, Toni Mould, was a testament to gsport’s aim to bring you the good news.
As we look to make 2020 bigger and better, we would like to thank our current subscribers for choosing to be part of our family and we would like to encourage more users to click on the “SUBSCRIBE” button as we aim to grow the South African women in sport platform.
