Heartbreak RWC Loss as Fiji Edge Boks in Dying Moments

Jordaan was substituted on in the second half of the match to earn her 35th cap for the team in green and gold.

This achievement comes as Jordaan announced that she will retire from the sport after the Rugby World Cup.

In a heartwarming message shared on the Women Boks Twitter, Jordaan said: “First and foremost I would like to thank all that were involved over the span of my career.

“Starting with the most important of all, I could not have done it without God, which has been and still is a major part of my life, without the grace of God that guided and motivated me for most part; none of this would have been possible. My motto: “God First”, will forever be an ever-fixed mark in my life going forward.”

Jordaan continued to thank her family, friends, teammates, team managers and all who contributed to the success of her career.
