Cricket commentator and gsport founder Kass Naidoo has officially announced her highly anticipated debut book, Making Women’s Sport Visible: 20 Years of gsport, in Johannesburg on Wednesday, 7 October, 2026.
The book stands as a definitive, two-decade archive documenting the triumphs, struggles and monumental growth of women’s sport in South Africa and across the continent.
Excitement is building toward the legacy book launch events kicking off on 30 November 2026. The book is a landmark celebration of South African sports heritage, honouring two decades of elevating women’s athletic achievements.
“This book is a hug to our community. While we know the more we progress, the more gaps we see, this book sets the record straight,” says Naidoo.

“It follows the journey of gsport and highlights the athletic, commercial and leadership advances that are taking us closer to the full professionalisation of women’s sport in South Africa.”
“It celebrates the grit, the glory and the incredible community that has brought us to this 20-year milestone,” Naidoo continues.
“With this book, we are turning 20 years of gsport equity into new pathways for the next generation.”
