Leading South African wheelchair tennis star Kgothatso Montjane has expressed her excitement as she has partnered with international company, Solvay Group, as ambassador.
The company made the official announcement on Thursday, 23 June 2022, saying: “We are so proud to welcome medal-winning and record-holding athletes Ambra Sabatini, Kgothatso Montjane and Trenten Merrill as inspiring new role models for #Solvay4Sport.
“The values promoted by these athletes are reflected in Solvay’s key beliefs: it is unity and not uniformity that allows society to achieve greater results. So who better that these 3 ‘go-getters’ to inspire us?
“We are proud to share our new partnership with these athletes, accompanying them on their quest for victory at the upcoming Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which will be held in Paris, France from August 28-September 8, 2024.
“During this 2-year journey, we aim to promote values embodied by the athletes, such as resilience, performance, dedication, perseverance and winning drive, through Solvay 4 Sport.”

Sharing on her Instagram, Montjane said: “Super excited to announce a new partnership with Solvay Group. A company which aims to cultivate an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces diversity.

“I can’t wait to meet my fellow ambassadors and I hope we will touch lives and change lives on this journey,” she concluded.
