South Africa’s leading wheelchair tennis star Kgothatso Montjane has drawn positives from her run at Wimbledon after suffering defeats in both the singles and doubles events.
On Saturday, 9 July, Montjane and her partner Lucy Shuker went down 4-6, 2-6 to Yui Kamiji and Dana Mathewson.

In the singles event on Thursday, 7 July, Montjane bowed out in the first-round at the hands of Kamiji, who won 6-3, 6-3.
South African world No. 4 wheelchair tennis ace @KGmontjane1 suffered a first-round defeat at the hands of world No. 2 Yui Kamiji at @Wimbledon on Thursday.
Montjane went down to the second seeded Japanese 6-3, 6-3 at the grass-court Grand Slam.
