South African wheelchair tennis star Kgothatso Montjane earned a doubles runners-up medal alongside Chinese partner, Yui Kamiji at Roland Garros on Sunday, 5 June 2022.
South Africa's @KGmontjane1 and her new Chinese partner Yui Kamiji have fallen just short of claiming the doubles title at @RolandGarros, going down to number one seeds Diede de Groot and Aniek van Koot on Sunday.

Montjane and Kamiji took on number one seeds Diede de Groot and Aniek van Koot, where they went down 7-6(5), 1-6, 10-8.
In the singles event, Montjane bowed out in the semi-final round against Netherlands’ de Groot.
