Adelaide Strikers clinched their maiden Women’s Big Bash League title at North Sydney Oval on Saturday, 26 November 2022.
The battle in the final saw Strikers take the trophy over Sydney Sixers with a 10-run victory.
South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt finished third on the runs list with 403 to her name, having played 16 matches with an average of 26.86.
Player of the Series was awarded to Ashleigh Gardner of Sydney Sixers, while Deandra Dottin was honoured with Player of the Match accolade and Strikers’ Megan Schutt with most wickets (37 wickets)
Perth Scorchers were the defending champions of the title.
