After coming in 2nd place in Doha and the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021, the Ethiopian had to fend off some fierce competition to finally claim her gold medal.
Obiri came in 2nd place in a personal best time of 30:10:02 with Kipkemboi claiming the bronze medal with a time of 30:10:56.
