South Africa’s hot golfing prospects have once again been confirmed in Ladies European Tour rookie Stacy Lee Bregman being signed up by New Star Asset Managers, the tour organisers have announced.

New Star has decided to sponsor the three, who will receive €10,000 each, and the LET has announced further good news that New Star Asset Management, sponsors of the New Star Money List, has agreed a winner’s bonus of €20,000 for the 2007 season.
Of the three New Star Rookies, Walker is currently ranked highest on the 2007 New Star Money List at 65th position. Bregman is 87th and Coughlan, who was first equal at the Ladies European Tour’s Final Qualifying School for the 2007 season, is placed 113th.
New Star decided to renew their acquaintance with the LET after a highly successful first year in 2006, during which England’s Laura Davies won the New Star Money List and France’s Gwladys Nocera won the leading bonus pool prize of €20,000.
The New Star Bonus Pool was a prize fund for the top five players on the New Star Money List who played in the final event on the 2006 LET schedule.
England’s Trish Johnson currently tops the 2007 New Star Money List with €151,279.28 after nine events played this season. Johnson captured her 18th career title at the BMW Ladies Italian Open in May.
Germany’s Bettina Hauert earned her maiden Tour victory at the Deutsche Bank Ladies’ Swiss Open a week prior and she occupies second place on the New Star Money List with €136,872.10.
Nocera won her fourth LET title at the KLM Ladies Open in the Netherlands last month and she is third on the New Star Money List with €111,447.25.
