Momentum Proteas’ Marizanne Kapp feels honoured to be named ICC world’s best Women’s ODI All-Rounder and is looking forward to using her international experience to help the national team lift a World Cup trophy.

Kapp, who is the first South African cricketer to take a hat-trick in a women’s Twenty20 International match, currently has a rating of 418 on the ICC rankings.

“To be honest I didn’t have my best tour of India, so I don’t know how I got there! But I am extremely blessed and all glory has to go to God,” Kapp explained to gsport.

“It has always been a dream to represent my country and do what I love. Hopefully I can in the near future help my team lift that World Cup.”

Social media joined in to celebrate Kapp’s latest achievement:
