Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe presented Paralympics swim star Natalie du Toit with the South African flag, as she is named the first recipient of the Shield of Jove Award in 16 years.
Du Toit also received the 2012 Sportswoman of the Year with a Disability Award earlier in the evening.
