Newcastle Ladies earned their first win in Stream A of the KwaZulu-Natal Sasol League, thumping Umlazi Arsenal 6-1 at Dithakong Sport Ground on Saturday, 5 June 2022.
In other Stream A results, UKZN also made no mistake playing on their home turf as they defeated Ayaphila 3-1 at Howard College.
DUT Coastal WFC added their name onto the winners list, as they defeated Tottenham Ladies 3-2 at Jeffrey Zungu stadium. While, it was not all gloom for DUT who lost 3-1 to Sunflower Wfc.
In Stream B, second-placed Lindelani Ladies who are now on nine points, maintained their winning form as they walked away with a 2-0 victory over Shooting Stars, while White City lost 2-1 at home to Makhanisi FC.
At Westville Sports Ground, Westville United earned maximum points after a 3-0 victory over Sapphire Ladies FC and Darnall FC thumped UniZulu Ladies FC 3-1 at Indumiso Sports Field.
