Oh, Captain my Captain!

Oh, Captain my Captain!

With women’s day on us, I would like to share my thoughts on a lady that is unstoppable and an ambassador for women’s rugby.

Natasha Hofmeester is the image you would see next to the statement “Dynamite comes in small packages” and needs no introduction.

After being the assistance coach for the WP Ladies team during 2016, she decided to dust of her togs and take to the field again for the WP ladies for the 2017 season.

Representing her club Union Milnerton, Natasha has never backed down from a challenge. She has taken on every obstacle placed in front of her and dominated every second she gives to rugby.

She is a role model to all and holds a special place in the name of rugby. Representing South Africa in a couple of seasons and making the most of every moment she gets her hand on the ball.

Humble and respectful to everyone that she meets and her mindset stays positive. She has lead by example on and off the field.

As captain of the WP team she has lead by example on and off the field. There is still a lot to come from this leading lady and from my personal experience with her she is not going to step down any time soon.

Happy Women’s Day to ALL our leading ladies out there!
