Ugandan goalkeeper and captain Ruth Aturo has officially joined Saudi Arabian outfit, Al-Shabab Women’s Football Club, as announced on Monday, 28 November 2022.

The 27-year-old has won four league titles and FUFA Women Cup, as part of her career achievements.
Aturo joins the club after featuring for Finland’s Kitkan Tyovaen Palloilijat, which she joined earlier this year from UCU Lady Cardinals.
Recently, Aturo was also capped for Uganda at senior level during the 2021 COSAFA Women’s Championship and the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifications.
