Springbok Women’s Sevens Secure Victory Over Kenya

The Springbok Women’s Sevens secured a 31-0 victory over Kenya in the second match of their pool stages on Thursday, 01 December 2022.

The team started the day with a 21-17 loss to France at the Sevens stadium in Dubai.

Although the team were leading 10-7 at halftime and went on to extend their lead to 17-7, it was not enough for them to win the match when the final whistle blew.

In the game against Kenya, the team were more clinical and stayed focused throughout the match, which helped them secure the 31-0 victory because of their strong defence and pace.

The Springbok Women’s Sevens will play their final pool match on Friday, 02 December against Tunisia at 13h00 (CAT)
