SA Stars Prepare for First Leg of ASA Grand Prix 1 Series

The athletics season is currently in full gear, as South African track and field sprinters will be in action against international competition at the first leg of the ASA Grand Prix Series, a World Athletics Continental Tour meeting at Tuks Athletics Stadium in Tshwane on Wednesday, 12 April 2023.

In the 100m race, the country’s record holder Carina Horn will be up against the promising young star Viwe Jingi, as she looks to extend her dominance on the track.

A favourite in the 200m, Miranda Coetzee will be up against Kayla le Grange and Kaylee le Roux for honours.

While, Zeney van der Walt will be aiming to out-run her opponents for the 400m hurdles medal.
