The South African women’s cricket team continued their winning streak on their tour of Europe, after beating England A by 36 runs in a limited overs match at Taunton College in England on Tuesday.
SA vice-captain Johmari Logtenberg, who scored an unbeaten 153 against Netherlands in the final ODI this past Sunday, was again among the runs, top-scoring with 82, to take South Africa to 200/9 in their allotted 50 overs.
In reply, England A were all-out for 164 in the 48th over. Susan Benade was impressive, bagging 3/25 in her 10 overs, while Sunette Loubser continued her good form with the ball, picking up 2/35 in 10 overs.
