With the final squash test to be played in Fish Hoek today, the Proteas are still in with a shout, though mainly due to victories in the men’s team making up for losses by the women.
South Africa has a slim lead gained in the first test in Wellkom last week.
In the two tests contested since then in Johannesburg and in Port Elizabeth, the home side has equalled the Dutch in overall victories, making for an exciting series-defining ending in the Cape today.
South Africa’s 2nd-ranked Diana Argyle (pictured) has been the victor in chief for the girls, beating Annalize Naude (retired hurt) in Welkom, and again in Port Elizabeth.
gsport wishes the Proteas every success, and hopes that the team brings home victory today.
