The CEO of the South African Tennis Association, Ian Smith, announced the South African Airways Fed Cup team to participate in the Europe/Africa Zone Group II being played in Mauritius from 16 – 21 April 2007.
The team members are:

Natalie Grandin
Surina de Beer
Lizaan du Plessis
Kelly Anderson
Surina de Beer (GN) and Kelly Anderson (KZN) are the new caps in the 2007 squad.
The team will be playing at the National Tennis Centre, Petit Camp, Phoenix in Mauritius and will be playing against teams from Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Norway and Portugal.
The eight (8) teams will be drawn into two (2) round robin groups of four (4) teams.
These teams will play against the three (3) other countries in their section, with the winner playing against the runner up of the other group to determine which two (2) countries are promoted to Europe / Africa Zone Group I in 2008.
The third placed team will play against the fourth placed team of the other group, in order to determine which two nations will be relegated to Europe / Africa Zone Group III in 2008.
Having made herself available and as the South African number 1 player, Smith added that SATA is very excited to have Natalie’s experience in the team.
