Sheryl James Secures Seventh Place in Birmingham

South Africa’s Sheryl James completed a seventh-place finish in the women’s T37/38 100m at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on Tuesday, 2 August 2022.

James clocked a time of 13.68 in the final round after setting a new African record earlier in the day in the heats.

Back in 2021, James ended her Paralympic Games campaign with a fifth-place finish in the women’s 100m T37 final.

While, Liezel Gouws was also on the track in the T37/38 100m, running a time of 14.57.
