South Africa’s renowned biokineticist and conditioning coach Simoné Conley will be venturing on a new journey with Al Attihad Ladies Club.
On Thursday, 13 July 2023, the club officially announced Conley as part of their technical team for the upcoming season, starting in August.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, Highlands Park and TS Galaxy biokineticist and conditioning coach will now have the opportunity to use her expertise on the international stage.
“Moving to Al Ittihad is a great opportunity for me. Going to apply my trade as a biokineticist and conditioning coach in another country will be a good challenge for me. I will have the opportunity to grow and learn from Coach Kelly Lindsay who has a lot of international experience in the USA, UK and in Africa as she was the technical director of the Morocco national team. I will also have the opportunity to play a role in the up and coming development of women’s football in Saudi Arabia and impact the lives of the ladies,” Conley expressed to gsport.
Conley will work closely with the players to improve their overall fitness, endurance, and strength, ensuring they are equipped to perform at their best during matches.
“I hope to be part of the development at Al Ittihad, make a positive contribution to the performance level of the players. Also we will strive to create a culture of hard work, a winning culture, I hope to win the league and cup competitions with the team,” she concluded.
Simone Conley’s holistic approach to player development will contribute to the overall growth of Al Ittihad Ladies Club and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
