Tuesday, 22 August 2006 – Athletics South Africa announced today that it will send a team of four women to represent South Africa at the Southern Region Half Marathon Championships, in Mozambique on 23 September 2006.
Also included in the team are Ronel Thomas, Irvette van Blerk and Zinhle Xiniwe.
At last year’s Championships in Seychelles, the South Africa women’s team brought home a gold and silver medal.
