Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies progressed to the final of the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League, defeating Simba Queens FC 1-0 on Wednesday, 9 November.

The first half of the match was a tight affair as the match went into the half-time break deadlocked at 0-0.
Early after recess, the Brazilians got off to a positive start as they showed intention to get onto the scoreboard.
In the 60th minute, Sundowns Ladies turned the intensity up a notch, but Queens’ defence stood firm.
15 minutes later, Boitumelo Rabale was the difference in the game as she netted a spectacular goal to give Sundowns a much-needed lead.
In the remaining minutes of the game, both teams had their chances but the South African-based club stood firm to ensure that they head into the final to defend their title.
