In what is expected to be a massive year for the JVW FC club in 2021, the JVW first team will be making their debut in the SAFA National Women’s League and the Reserve team in the SAFA Ekurhuleni Regional League, both kicking off early next year.
JVW FC are excited to announce their new Sleeve Sponsor for 2021, Supa Nova, an Electrical and Plumbing company who has made the pledge to back a women’s football team.
Irwin Hackner, CEO and owner of Supa Nova said: “My team and I are avid football supporters and have been quietly noticing the immense strides that JVW FC have been making in football.
“We are extremely proud and pleased to be supporting them and wish them all success this coming season.”
With many strides being made within the club, one of the top priorities is to secure financial sponsors, to assist with the day to day running of the teams, and the club as a whole.
Whilst all our coaches are still under volunteer contracts, our aim is to professionalize the club in all aspects.

With the help of partners and sponsors this could become a reality in the near future. Women’s football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and with the success of the senior women’s national team and the women’s leagues in South Africa, we are hopeful that sponsors will start coming on board to enable female footballers in South Africa to have successful careers in the sport.
