The second leg of the R110 000 Billabong ‘Girls Get Out There’ Summer Surf Series moves to Jeffreys Bay this weekend where the country’s top female surf stars will be competing in the 3A rated Open and Pro Junior divisions alongside contests for Under 15’s and Novices on Saturday and Sunday, 15-16 December.

Girls Get Out Festivals Return

The first of four exclusively female beach- and surf festivals covering the South Africa’s summer coastline gets underway on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast on the weekend of the 8-9 December, when the Billabong ‘Girls Get Out There’ Summer Surf Series starts in the tourist mecca of Margate.

Billabong Ramps Up Out There

The rapidly growing female surfing community in South African will receive a significant boost through the expansion of the third annual Billabong "Girls Get Out There" Surf Series, that runs from December to February along the coastline of the country.

Clark Scoops Final Billabong Event

Heather Clark made a triumphant return to SA surfing when she scored a narrow but deserved win in the Open division of the fourth and final Billabong ‘Girls Get Out There’ Surf Series event which finished in wind affected one metre waves at Tableview in Cape Town on Sunday.

After seven years competing at the highest levels of professional surfing globally, Heather Clark will make her first appearance in a domestic surfing event when she takes to the waves in the fourth and final leg of the Billabong ‘Girls Get Out There’ Surf Series on the Tableview beachfront in Cape Town this weekend.

Margate for December Surf Festival

The second leg of the four-event Billabong ‘Girls Get Out There’ Summer Surf Series, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, 5 & 6 December, takes the country’s most lucrative all-girls surfing series to the holiday venue of Margate on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
