South Africa’s Tamsyn Smith and Michaela Ohlson bagged silver in the doubles event at the All Africa U-19 Badminton Championship in Mauritius.
Badminton South Africa shared the news in a post on Facebook, saying: “Congratulations to our Ladies Tamsyn Smith and Micheala Ohlson who were able to achieve a silver medal at the Junior All Africa Championships Mauritius 2022.
“After a great battle they lost out in the final to Uganda and can be extremely proud of their achievement!”
The pair lost 2-0 [21-15, 21,17] to Fadilah Shamika and Tracy Naluwoodza in the final round.
